 Young people are falling prey to bad addiction in many ways. Most of the youngsters are wasting their lives in the puff of cigarettes. Cigarette smoke can also cause a heart attack. There is chest pain that feels like acidity. But if a youth is smoking cigarettes and repeatedly feels like chest pain, burning or acidity, then it should not always be mistaken for acidity because it can sometimes also be a heart attack. In such cases, the doctor should be contacted immediately or else the heart attack can also be fatal.

Rewa, says that nowadays smoking addiction is taking a toll on people's hearts. Especially among young people. Every month 40 to 50 patients are coming to hospitals in Rewa city alone with heart problems, most of whom are found to have blockages in the arteries of the heart. Cigarette smoke blocks the nerves due to smoking in youth, which obstructs blood circulation in the heart and increases the risk of attack. Sometimes it has symptoms like acidity, which people consider minor, but it can also be a heart attack.

Cases of heart attack increase during the cold days

The poor lifestyle and stress is Rewa's cardiologist Dr. S.K. Singh. Tripathi says that cases of heart attack increase during the cold days, but now this problem is being seen throughout the year. The main reason for this is changing lifestyle, mental stress, comparing yourself on social media, lack of physical activity and diet. Smoking addiction is increasing rapidly, especially among the youth, due to which they are becoming victims of heart attack at an early age.

Dr. SK Tripathi says that in Rewa district alone, 5 to 6 patients are dying of heart attack every month. Many times patients ignore chest pain as a gas problem, but it can prove fatal. Many patients lose their lives due to late arrival at the hospital. Doctors say that people who smoke excessive amounts of cigarettes are at the highest risk of heart attack.
